The New York Haunted Trail

New York's haunted map runs the length of the state, from lighthouses on Long Island Sound to backroads in the Catskills where locals still won't drive after dark. Manhattan alone holds a colonial tavern with a documented basement crime and Broadway houses with their own resident ghosts. Upstate cities add old asylums and a library built over a buried millrace. More than three hundred stops make up the network. The Hudson Valley loop below pulls one week's worth of that map into a single weekend drive, built for a family with two days and a full tank of gas.
