For venue owners and operators
Claim your listing.
Tell your story.
If we've cataloged your venue, you can claim the listing to update photos, ticketing links, hours, accessibility info, and the editorial copy. We're also building partnerships with venues that host private events, paranormal investigations, weddings, and overnight stays.
Claim a listing
Find your venue on HauntBound, take a screenshot of the page, and email it to us. We'll verify ownership (typically via a domain-matched email or a phone callback to the listed business line), then send you a credentialed link to edit your listing.
Once claimed you can update:
- Photos (we accept Wikimedia/Flickr-licensed shots, your own commercial photography, or commissioned pieces with appropriate license)
- Booking URLs, ticket pricing, advance-notice requirements
- Hours of operation, seasonal closures, age restrictions
- Accessibility details (wheelchair, terrain, sensory warnings)
- Editorial copy — additions, corrections, fact patches

Partner on bookings
We send curated, high-intent traffic to venues with online ticketing or direct-booking flows — guests who arrived via search for "haunted hotels with paranormal investigations" already know they want what you offer. If your venue runs ghost tours, overnight investigations, paranormal walks, or themed dining, we'd like to surface a clear booking CTA on your listing.
We work both ways:
- Direct partnerships with venue-operated booking systems (Synxis, OpenTable, your own Stripe checkout, etc.)
- Existing affiliate networks (Viator, GetYourGuide, Booking.com, Tripadvisor)
- Custom links with affiliate codes, discount codes for HauntBound visitors, or seasonal campaigns
List private events
Coming Q3 2026
Haunted weddings. Paranormal-themed corporate offsites. Halloween-season private parties. October-only investigation rentals.
We're building a B2B portal specifically for venues that host private bookings beyond their public-facing tour or hotel offering. Inquiry forms, capacity and rate cards, in-house catering and AV, paranormal-investigation rental terms — the directory the wedding-and-events industry has been missing for the haunted-history vertical.
Want early access? Send us your venue's private-event capabilities and we'll loop you in when the portal launches.
Photo or content removal
Most of our hero images are CC-licensed (Wikimedia Commons, Flickr Commons) and we attribute the original photographer on every venue page. If you're the photographer or the rights-holder and you want a photo removed or re-attributed, we act quickly.
Same applies for venues that prefer not to be listed — we'll honor any property-owner request to remove a venue from the catalog. (We try to flag trespass-only sites and remove them by policy, but we miss some.)
Editorial integrity: Claiming a listing or partnering on bookings doesn't change how we feature the venue editorially. The featured-pick algorithm is independent of paid relationships. Our affiliate partnerships are disclosed where they exist, and we cap the influence any single relationship has on rankings.
