The Oregon Haunted Trail

Oregon splits its hauntings between two very different landscapes. Portland claims the densest concentration, old hotels and Old Town's underground tunnels included. The rest of the state spreads its ghosts more thinly, pioneer cemeteries and mountain resorts from the coast to the high desert, with small-town theaters filling in between. Several sites lean into it outright, running their own paid overnight investigations rather than waiting for a tour company to ask. More than eighty stops make up the statewide network. The featured route skips Portland entirely, tracing a quieter path from Salem through Eugene and over the Cascades to Bend.
