Agaard Road hosts multiple distinct paranormal phenomena representing different tragic events.

Between 2 AM and 5 AM on most mornings, two apparitions manifest: Lazlo, a man wearing flannel fishing attire, materializes at the creek crossing where it runs under the road. He engages in residual activity—fishing and smoking a pipe—appearing as if conducting his normal routine. He is described as non-threatening and benign.

Across the road, Helen, his wife, manifests with hands on hips and an annoyed expression on her face. The positioning—Helen waiting while Lazlo fishes—suggests a domestic scene encoded in the location's psychic structure. This manifestation pattern repeats nightly within the specified time window.

Additional phenomena include unexplained smoke rising from the abandoned house and lights visible in its windows, despite electrical power being disconnected since the late 1990s. These phenomena suggest either residual hauntings of the house's operational period, or intelligent entities manipulating visible energy.

The most poignant paranormal account involves Joey, a young boy apparition appearing at the creek swimming hole. He appears in blue shorts and a striped t-shirt, with blue facial coloration and water dripping from his body. Notably, the water never leaves spots on rocks—a specific detail suggesting not physical water but paranormal manifestation.

Joey is typically encountered in late summer during mid-afternoon hours. He exhibits intelligently responsive behavior, calling out for his 'mommy and daddy,' sometimes with audible whimpers and cries. When approached, Joey leads observers up the creek bank before disappearing near the highway. The behavior suggests either a distressed intelligent entity attempting communication, or a residual haunting replaying a child's final moments.
