The Connecticut Haunted Trail

Connecticut's haunted geography splits between two very different landscapes: a shoreline strung with sea captains' houses and old inns, and an inland belt of mill towns and traprock ridges where colonial-era legends still cling to hillsides and cemeteries. More than eighty documented locations span both, from a fortified Revolutionary War earthwork above the Thames to a century-old amusement park built on land once held by a Native chief.
