The Delaware Haunted Trail

Delaware doesn't have its own state trail guide yet, but its haunted landscape holds up on its own: colonial jails and county courthouses around New Castle, roadside legend routes through Kent County farmland, and beach-town inns along the coast. Roughly two dozen sites are open to visitors here, small enough to see in a long weekend without a formal itinerary. For travelers passing through on a longer run, the national route and its guide cover the wider Mid-Atlantic region, folding Delaware's stops into a bigger multi-state trip instead of asking the state to stand alone.
