The Wyoming Haunted Trail

Wyoming's haunted landscape is mostly empty highway between marker points: a sacred formation in the northeast corner that predates every ghost story attached to it, a literary cow town on the high plains where a century-old hotel still rents the room a jilted bride is said to haunt, and a Gothic church tower in the capital with a deathbed-confession legend the parish itself treats gently. The state has a few dozen documented stops in total, most of them small towns a single highway apart. The featured Casper-to-Yellowstone loop covers the busiest corridor; the rest rewards a longer drive.
