The Alaska Haunted Trail

Alaska's haunted map runs the length of the state. Gold Rush saloons and bar-fight ghosts in Skagway and Juneau sit alongside Anchorage's oldest hotel and its century-old unsolved cases, with mining ruins near Kennecott and cemetery lore reaching south to Kodiak. What holds it together is shared frontier weight, long winters and small isolated towns that each built their own ghost story out of necessity. Roughly two dozen venues make up the network so far. Alaska doesn't have its own curated loop yet, so the national trail guide is the best starting point for planning a haunted stop here, with venue pages carrying the fuller history.
