Madison Ghosts, US Ghost Adventures' Madison brand, operates a nightly walking tour meeting at the Children's Museum, 100 N Pinckney St. The roughly 1-hour, 1-mile route covers the Majestic Theater, built in 1906 and among Madison's oldest theaters; the Great Dane Pub, a brewery and restaurant occupying the site of the former Fess Hotel, which operated under one family's ownership until 1972; and the Tempest Oyster Bar, housed in a building constructed in the early 1900s as the Frautschi Funeral Home, which the operator ties to the 1997 death of a former Heaven's Gate cult member found in the basement.
