Est. 2000 · Park City Mountain Resort partnership · Victorian-style replica architecture · Snowed Inn Sleigh Company
The original Snowed Inn opened in 1986 as a bed and breakfast in an older mansion off Park City's State Route 224. Owners Mary Ann Pack and her husband attended a holiday party at the Homestead in Midway that offered sleigh rides with dining, and in 1990 they launched a similar program at the Snowed Inn with two horses and a sleigh.
In 2000 the original Snowed Inn was sold, and the owners began searching for a new home. In a partnership with Park City Mountain Resort, the operation moved to a new Victorian-style replica building built off Home Run beginning in July 2000. By December 2000, the new Snowed Inn was open and taking reservations as a sleigh-ride and dining destination. The original B&B was located near where the Good Movement Pilates Studio now stands. The Shadowlands description matches the current building's positioning as 'an upscale replica' designed to evoke the owner's distant grandmother's home.

Mist between floorsApparition appearing in photographsSense of warm presence
Local Park City tradition associates both the original off-resort Snowed Inn and the current Park City Mountain Resort replica with the apparition of the founders' grandmother, after whose home the original B&B was themed. Mist has been reported moving between floors of the building, and her likeness has appeared in photographs taken by staff. The grandmother is most often associated with the bedroom themed after her own; the current building preserves themed rooms similar to those of the original.
The presence is consistently described as gentle and family-oriented, in keeping with the inn's sleigh-ride and family-dining identity. Independent corroboration is limited to inn marketing materials and regional Utah paranormal writing.
