Bricktown Canal and historic Bricktown warehouse district
Water Taxi LLC has operated narrated canal cruises through Oklahoma City's Bricktown entertainment district for roughly 25 years, carrying over two million passengers along its regular sightseeing route past the district's historic warehouses, murals, and bronze sculptures. Each October, the company partners with the ArtAfloatOKC Foundation to run Haunted History Cruises, an annual themed-cruise series that has run for multiple years and coincides with Bricktown's Brick-or-Treat Halloween event. Proceeds benefit Preservation Oklahoma, Inc., the state's only private nonprofit dedicated to historic preservation. The cruises have been promoted by the city's official tourism site, VisitOKC, and by the Downtown OKC and Bricktown district organizations.
