Baltimore Ghost Tours was founded by Amy Lynwander and Melissa Rowell, who conducted community research, interviewed residents and bar owners, and reviewed library documents before launching their first Fells Point walking tour in October 2001. The founders published a book, 'Baltimore's Harbor Haunts: True Ghost Stories,' in July 2005, and expanded into Mount Vernon with a second tour beginning in September 2007.
The company is a Certified Authentic Baltimore Tour, a member of the Baltimore Convention and Visitors Bureau and Fells Point Main Street, and listed with the Maryland Office of Tourism.
