Canton Ghosts, US Ghost Adventures' Canton brand, operates a nightly walking tour meeting at McKinley Park, named for Canton's hometown president. The roughly 1-hour, 1-mile route covers the Canton Palace Theatre, a 1926 movie palace known for its Kilgen pipe organ, and the Saxton McKinley House, the childhood home of First Lady Ida Saxton McKinley that today houses the National First Ladies Library. The route also passes the Barber-Whitticar House, described by the operator as one of Canton's older residential haunts.

According to the operator, the Canton Palace Theatre's Kilgen pipe organ has been heard playing with no one at the keys, accompanied by reports of a sorrowful former vaudeville performer haunting the balcony and backstage. At the Saxton McKinley House, the operator describes reports of Ida Saxton McKinley and her two children, who died in the home, still present within its walls. At the Barber-Whitticar House, the operator describes the property as still occupied by a former owner's spirit.
