Hair-pulling in Row BB of balcony (Man in Row BB)Stolen and displaced props (Girl in Yellow)Female apparition dancing on empty stage (Woman in White)Multiple witness sightings by staff, audience, and summer camp children

The Hickory Community Theatre has assigned names and descriptions to three persistent ghost presences, documented by Catawba County in its 'Haunted Catawba' series.

The Man in Row BB operates in the balcony: audience members seated in that section have reported having their hair pulled by an unseen presence. The report pattern is specific enough that Row BB carries a reputation among regular theatregoers.

The Girl in Yellow is a child spirit associated with prop theft. According to the Catawba County account, missing props have been blamed on her since at least a production of State Fair dating to around 1900, predating the theatre's current occupancy and suggesting the spirit's history is attached to the building rather than the theatrical company.

The Woman in White is the most frequently reported figure. She has been seen dancing on the main stage by staff members working after hours, by audience members before and after performances, and by children attending summer camp programs. Multiple independent witnesses across different decades have produced consistent descriptions. No historical identity has been established for any of the three figures.
