Shadow figuresObject movementPoltergeist activity

The shadow at Mrs. P & Me is described consistently: a tall figure, disproportionate in height, appearing and receding. It does not correspond to any visible person in the room at the time of the sighting. Staff who have worked at the restaurant for extended periods have reported it independently.

The kitchen activity is more physical in character. Objects depart counters without contact — not falling, according to accounts, but moving with apparent lateral force. The coat rack near the entrance has produced similar events: hangers spinning on the rod and flying off, particularly during quiet stretches when the building has settled and the human population of the room is minimal.

The bookshelf story is the most specific. Books on a decorative shelf sailed off with enough frequency and force that the decision was made to stop using the shelf for books entirely. It now sits empty.

No historical event at this specific address has been identified to anchor these accounts. The building's 120-year-plus continuous use as a gathering place is the primary context.
