ApparitionsResidual haunting

The accounts for Lynwood City Park describe two visual phenomena at or near the location of the 2003 fatality.

The first is a man on a bicycle — riding toward the observer, appearing at normal scale and in ordinary daylight conditions, before dissolving at a distance of roughly 15 feet. The figure is described as appearing during both day and nighttime hours.

The second is the same figure prone on the ground at the spot where he was found, appearing to ask for help before disappearing. The two apparitions are understood by community accounts as different moments from the same event playing on a loop.

No independent documentation of the 2003 incident was found during research. The Shadowlands entry is the primary source for both the fatality claim and the subsequent paranormal reports. The accounts represent a residual haunting archetype — a traumatic event replayed at the site — without any record of escalating or interactive behavior.
