The Pub & Restaurant occupies a Lincoln Square storefront in downtown Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Lisa Grim, an Adams County resident, opened the current Pub in April 1996 after detailed remodeling that brought out the building's signature deep-blue accent. In January 1997 the dining room and bar were revamped with high-backed booths and a more refined bar atmosphere, and in 1998 a second-floor banquet space was added. Artist Billy Jones painted wall murals featuring children of local Gettysburg contractors and community members.
In February 2001 the Pub was engulfed in flames in a fire that required substantial rebuilding. The restaurant reopened in April 2002 and continues to operate as a downtown Gettysburg pub serving American food and craft beer.

Doors opening and closingLights turning on and offSense of presence
Local Gettysburg paranormal accounts associate The Pub with a presence in the women's restroom and the kitchen-adjacent areas. Staff have reported doors opening and closing without explanation and lights turning on and off when no one is near the switches. The Shadowlands entry associates the activity with a woman whose death was linked to an earlier rebuild of the building; no public court or newspaper record has been located corroborating that detail, so the account should be treated as oral tradition.
The Pub appears on several Gettysburg downtown ghost walking-tour itineraries, where it is typically presented alongside the Farnsworth House and Tillie Pierce House. Gettysburg's broader paranormal reputation, anchored in Civil War battlefield history, may amplify minor downtown accounts.
